At Greenbrook Designs LLC, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Terra handles your data.

The short version: Terra converts your shapefiles entirely on your device. We don't collect, store, or have access to the files you convert, and we don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

1. Information We Collect

Terra is designed to do its core job — converting shapefiles to KMZ — entirely on your device, without sending your files anywhere. We collect only the following:

Information You Provide:

- Nothing is transmitted to us. Shapefiles you import, and the KMZ files Terra generates, are processed and stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or any third party.

Automatically Collected Information:

- Device Information: Device type, iOS version, and app version, collected automatically by Apple when you use the app, for troubleshooting purposes

- Crash Reports: Technical data when the app crashes, to help us fix bugs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect solely to:

- Diagnose and fix technical issues

- Improve the app's stability and performance

- Respond to your support requests, if you contact us

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond maintaining the app.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your Files: Shapefiles you import and KMZ files Terra generates are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. We have no access to these files, and they are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Our Servers: We do not maintain servers that store your shapefiles, converted files, or any property or location data. The only information that may reach us is anonymous crash and diagnostic data, if you have crash reporting enabled in your device settings.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your files or personal information to third parties. The only circumstance in which information may be disclosed is:

- If required by law, court order, or government request

- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

5. Location Data

Terra does not access, collect, or use your device's location. Coordinate data contained within shapefiles you import is processed only to generate the resulting KMZ file and stays on your device.

6. Data Security

Because your files are processed and stored locally on your device, their security is governed by your device's own security measures (such as passcode and device encryption). We do not transmit your files over the internet as part of the app's core functionality.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Since Terra does not collect or store your files or personal data on our end, there is nothing for us to access, edit, or delete on your behalf. You have full control over your files at all times:

- Access: All converted files are visible in the app's My Files tab

- Delete: You can delete any converted file directly within the app, or by deleting the app itself

- Export: You can export or share your converted files at any time using the app's Save or Email features

8. Children's Privacy

Terra is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

9. Third-Party Services

Terra does not integrate with any third-party services that receive your files or personal data.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

- Right to know what personal information is collected (in Terra's case, effectively none)

- Right to request deletion of your personal information

- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)

- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

12. International Users

Terra is operated in the United States. Since your files are processed and stored locally on your device rather than transmitted to us, this section primarily applies to any anonymous crash or diagnostic data, which may be processed in the United States.
