Our Next Home collects the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

Information You Provide:

• Property Information: Addresses, notes, ratings, and other details you add about properties
• Photos: Images you attach to properties
• Location Data: Geographic coordinates for properties you save (only when you add a property)
• Account Information: Your iCloud account is used for data sync, but we do not have access to your iCloud credentials

Automatically Collected Information:

• Usage Data: Anonymous information about how you use the app (through RevenueCat for subscription management)
• Device Information: Device type, iOS version, and app version for troubleshooting
• Crash Reports: Technical data when the app crashes to help us fix bugs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide and maintain the app's core functionality
• Sync your data across your devices using iCloud
• Enable sharing features when you choose to collaborate with others
• Process subscription payments and manage your subscription status
• Improve the app and fix technical issues
• Respond to your support requests

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

iCloud Storage: All property data, photos, and notes you create are stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This means:

• Your data is encrypted and stored securely by Apple
• We do not have access to your property information unless you share it with us for support purposes
• Your data syncs across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account
• Apple's privacy practices govern how your iCloud data is handled

Our Servers: We do not maintain our own servers for storing your property data. The only information we process through our systems is:

• Subscription status (managed through RevenueCat and Apple)
• Anonymous usage analytics
• Crash reports for debugging

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

With Your Consent:

• When you use sharing features to collaborate with other users, they can view and edit the properties you've shared

With Service Providers:

• Apple/CloudKit: Your data is stored in iCloud and synced using Apple's services
• RevenueCat: Processes subscription information and provides anonymous analytics

For Legal Reasons:

• If required by law, court order, or government request
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Location Data

Our Next Home uses location data to help you save and map properties. Here's how we handle it:

• Location access is only used within the app to center the map on your current position and assist with address search
• We do not track your location in the background or when the app is closed
• Location data for properties you save is stored only in your iCloud account
• You can deny location access and still use the app by manually entering addresses

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• All data synced through iCloud is encrypted by Apple
• Communication between the app and our services uses secure HTTPS connections
• We regularly review and update our security practices

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all your data directly in the app
• Edit: You can modify or update your property information at any time
• Delete: You can delete properties, photos, or your entire account from within the app
• Export: You can export your data from the app at any time
• Opt-out: You can disable analytics or turn off location access in your device settings

Since your data is stored in your iCloud account, you also have full control through Apple's iCloud settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Next Home is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Next Home integrates with the following third-party services:

RevenueCat: For subscription management. Review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email if you've provided one.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to request deletion of your personal information
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)

12. International Users

Our Next Home is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
